How to Choose a Good Unit for Your Condo?

Updated on 08 Aug 2019

4 years ago, one buyer bought a particular 3-bedroom condo and this year he just sold with more than $300k profit!!!
But, his neighbor only gets a slim profit of $70k…
That’s a huge gap with more than $200k different in profit!!!

Even though they bought on the same day in the same condo!
Why is that so?

There are many such cases, I realized that unit selection is one of the most important factors to determine your profit. Do you agree?

Today I’m going to share with you, the 9 criteria to choose a good unit for your condo so that you can optimize your profit in the future.

9 Criteria to Choose a Good Unit for Your Condo:

  1. Avoid main door facing an elevator
  2. Don’t want too near to Rubbish Chute
  3. Avoid facing substation or bin center or BBQ Pit
  4. Avoid the units with less privacy among neighbours
  5. Avoid the Unit Type with the Highest Percentage of Distribution.
  6. Choose the Extreme Corner Unit
  7. Avoid Afternoon sun
  8. Avoid Top Floor unless you really love it and buying for your own stay
  9. Avoid to buy on the Highest $psf benchmark of the project.

Plan For Yourself is very Important!

As a lot of people never plan anything before going to showflat, they usually end up paying more for a less ideal unit; thereby making less profit as compared to a better valued unit.

I suggest we have a short meet up first where I can share with you based on your case and what is the best scenario moving forward and based on the market now what are the projects best suit you!
